Minimalist, Pop-Culture Creations

Minimalist, Pop-Culture Creations

Fatima Yousafzai is a digital artist, residing in Pakistan. She gathers inspiration from different things, ranging from nature, the people she encounters and especially, music — “The thing about artists is that whatever they see, they end up incorporating in their work in one way or another. I personally turn to music when in need of inspiration.”.

Yousafzai's goal is to integrate a multitude of themes into her artwork, from Desi pop culture, to minimalism. She attempts to bring together all of these factors, in order to create a more diverse and relatable collection of artwork.

Yousafzai hopes that her art makes people realize that you can bring different aspects of culture together and incorporate them into your artwork, touching a wider range of people. She also hopes it gives young adults like her the motivation to take up something like this in their lives.
